Chemical analysis

Analytical chemistry deals with the identification and quantity determination of chemical substances.

With optical emission spectrometry (OES), the chemical element composition and concentrations of all common metallic materials and their alloys can be determined quickly and precisely and a clear identification of the material can thus be ensured. 

Optical emission spectrometry is particularly suitable for low detection limits of the individual elements. 

On the other hand, the material mix-up testing, also called Positive Material Inspection (PMI), is characterised by a quick comparison and identification of the tested material to a reference test piece.
